1000 or 2500????????

ok so, I've had my 1k for exactly a year, it has jjos2xl, I absolutely love it but today (and I can't be arsed to explain how and why) I ended up with a brand new 2500 with original akai os.

one of em HAS to go, do I stick to what I know and sell the 2500, or do I get xl on the 2500 and get rid of my 1000?

I can't decide.

it really is a 50/50, I'd prob get the same money for em both as the 1k is maxed aout as far as possible withput doing a mod, yet the 2500 is obviously more expensive brand new.

The pads aren't really an issue for me, I really don't see what everyones problem is with the moc 1000 pads. mine are sweet, they feel just like the 2500.

The extra outs also aren't an issue cos I wont be using em....

any input would be nice.

....better handling......once you forgot the old ways your fingers moved on the 1k and get used to the new thing, you never wanna change back....the adjustable screen....

more slider options.....

on the road?....at least it's biigger and heavier....makes a difference if it comes to flying......

Ur looking for a 'desktop mpc' or a 'laptop mpc'?

I prefer to work on the 2500. More dedicated buttons, also the screen and the extra audio/midi outputs were reasons for me to upgrade.

you don't have a problem with the mpc1000 pads because yours came with the new ones... people who paid just as much and got the older crappy pads have every right to be mad... luckily, mine came with the new pads as well. as far as your question goes... i think it goes without saying that you should keep the 2500... more outs, larger pads, flip-screen, same jjos... dude.

i know the 5k, i know the 2k and i know the 1k....

never touched a 25oo.....

i was just expecting the 2500 should have at least an effect set a bit like the good old 2k.....

if you say clown, you wanna tell me the 2500 has the SAME crappy and pretty poor effects as the 1000 !!??

how did you end up with an mpc2500 if you didn't want one in the first place?
