LIKE CAN IT ACCEPT MIDI COMMANDS FROM AN APC 40 IS MIDI ASSIGNED FOR THE APC FADERS TO CONTROL THE MIXER SEXTION
first of all : why the capitals ??
second : MIDI implementation of MPC is poor, next to 'not existing'.
Unlike any other box with MIDI on it, it can not be controlled via MIDI (only note data is applied) ... concept being that MPC should be used to control the rest of the studio but not be used the other way around.
As said, I know of no other post 2000 MIDIbox that can not be controlled by MIDI but MPC is just like that...
