Hi,
I am new to MPC 1000 and also new to this forum. So, I apologize if this has been asked before.
I have a sampled phrase which is about 5 seconds long and I added it to a track as an event and made a sequence of it. I play the sequence and it loops fine and everything sounds good. BUT!
When I hit stop in the middle of the loop, the sample keeps playing until the end of the sample is reached! I read in the manual if I hit the STOP key three time quickly it stops all sound playing back. I tested that and it worked. It also worked with a foot switch. (pressing the foot switch 3 times, quickly)
But is there a configuration parameter that I can set so the STOP button works as if it's pressed 3 times quickly?
I have the AKAI OS, not sure which version, probably older version. (I don't know how to find the OS version) Should I upgrade to JJ OS?
Thank you.
