does anyone one have or know where I can get these kinds drums in this vid from 1.32 to 1.50. ya know the ones, shadow uses em alll the time.

thanks v much. I know you just put lots of reverb etc on but I was hoping to find some full kits that I could buy.

From listening to the You Tube link, it sounds as though the snare is just a random electronic snare (possibly from the Roland TR-808) layered with a harder snare and the kick is just a gated funk kick. However, the kick sound appears to be larger giving a "boof" sound when triggered because it's heard through a P.A. speaker at the venue. Also, being recorded through the camera's microphone also "colors" the sound (to your liking).

Which machine do you use to compose your music? MPC? Software?

When it comes to drums, claps, percussion, ethnic loops, nasty ass snappy breaks, funk-soul-jazz samples or MPC Master classes, then I'm your man. $100 for 350 Drums, $200 for 750, $300 for 1,700 kicks, claps, snares, percussion.
