Just a few questions, 1st what os should I use and are there any aftermarket os upgrades? 2nd does anyone have cf cards, hd's, or an effects card for sale? What effects are supported by the effects card I just need a compressor and low pass filter And can I partition a 4gb card for use w/ it? 3rd my pads sometimes double tap or stick is there a fix other than replacing the sensor strip and pads, and if not where is the cheapest place to buy those two items. 4th I know its a faux paux but does anyone have the beat making on the 2000xl ebook I could "borrow" I just bought the beat making on the 1000 book traded my 1000 for the 2000xl now I'm too broke to buy the book till next month. 5th the tack I'm working on sometimes will "split" and play l/r outputs appx a second apart leaving a jumbled mess wtf sorry turned out to be longer than I expected pm with sales info please I'm dying for answers

the effects card is called an eb-16 and it adds I think 4 effects per bus.
The pad double tapping, sometimes cleaning the sensors works, electrical cleaner, cloth. Use google to find p[laces to buy, cause thats a long learned secret you gotta find for yourself.

Right on yo, much appreciated, hate to ask so quickly after but how do you clean the sensors exactly, I've already had my machine apart to check it out and the sensor strip is what I saw, I don't wanna get under it do I?

The sensor pad is held down with adhesive. You don't want to remove this.

Unplug your machine. Remove the rubber pads and gently wipe down the pad sensors which are directly underneath with isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth.

If the rubber pads are dirty, wash them in a sink with soap and water -- if you use chemicals like isopropyl alcohol, it may damage them. Dry the pads thoroughly before putting the back on the machine.
