how do i sequence the s950 with the MPC 2000xl?

I have my s950 all set up and ready to go, but I dont know how to sequence it with the MPC.

My main issue is the set up. Can anyone give me a simple step by step on how to get it ready?

Did you try the explanation and schematics on page 11 of the manual?

set up keygroups corresponding to the mpc pad midi number (eg 37 36 42 82 etc etc) with const. pitch ON and for drums theres a mono mode (similar to "one shot")
then save that program and you can use it as your default each time
