saving beats on mpc 2000

I made a beat on the mpc how would i save it and put it in my mac. would i have to save it on a zip disk because i have a zip drive then put it in my usb zip drive.

...all you can and definitly should save to your zip are programs (mapping/sounds/effect parameters) and all sequnces and songs (your beat / midi note data)....

thats not a ready to play loop for your computer!

you can use the midi data and the single sounds in your computer but thats not the same as it sounds like when your mpc is playing it....

best would be, you record the beat in audio to your computer....

do you have single outputs in your mpc?
and do you have an audio interface for your computer?

Is this an audio interface http://www.guitarcenter.com/CME-U2MIDI- ... 1390346.gc and could i use that with protools and logic it could make individual tracks (kicks, snare, hats etc) like that as recording?

No, that is a USB to MIDI connector. A audio interface records audio through a DAW, Digidesign MBox is an example (which also has a MIDI interface)

I'm looking for a cheap on http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringer-U ... 1154403.gc would that work with an mpc 2000 to a DAW?

Oh yea, you can record audio from the MPC with that. Only issue would be synching the MPC with it because there is no MIDI connection. But for two channel recording of the MPC that is fine.

SN: You could also use the outputs (of the interface) to sample into the MPC from the computer if you want (not sure what your setup is though?).
