How much memory do you have in your mpc?

How many files/folders total on the cf card?

What else is loaded into your mpc already when you attempt to load this cards files?

i got another question but dont get mad... i loaded up about 15 samples on my buddies mpc and then it said programs were full does he need to update the mpc 1000 to hold more program samples my mpc loads all of them no problem cause if he gets a new card thats bigger and that works fine and i put 30 samples on it for him and he puts it in the mpc loads it up it wont be able to load all the sample programs because it only holds so much then says programs are full i read some stuff on it but cant pin point my finger on anything why me i have hard enough time with my mpc im helping my friend but gaining knowledge please thanks

Maybe there is an autoload of samples/programs that is taking up space in ram.

Maybe the samples are too big and taking up all the space in ram.

Maybe he has less ram than he thinks he has.

It's probably something I said earlier.

Amount of ram installed?
Autoloading of samples clogging up ram?
Size of samples?

Try putting the card in a different device that uses the same kind of card camera/video ,, see if it will hold more than 30mb in a device other than the mpc, if it does the same thing then you will know it is the card itself
