on time sample play back?

Hey everyone, i just recorded a sample and made a loop. now i want to play it back using the pads on time. Is there a way to detect the right tempo so the loop doesn't jump when i hit each pad? im trying to make it flow right, but i cant figure out how fast i should hit the pads. If anyone knows a way to figure this out that would be really awesome. Thanks!
