mpc1000 jjos2xl helppppp! please

So I'm bouncin all over the mpc world here, had a 1000 traded it for a 2000xl then traded the 2000xl for a 1000 fully upgraded/ pad upgrade all jjos' ...... Anyway it has os2xl in it and I'm having a few problems with it, first when I record a sequence I can't hear what I'm playing not even on playback I have to go to the program screen, exit out and then it plays fine,,,? How do I fix it? Second when I go to a new sequence and try to record, the last sequence I layed out plays... Wtf!?! Third I can't find a os2xl manual to dl, is one available?

get the latest version, currently 1.24 for 2xl, from jj's site

also do a factory reset after installing (hold down erase key for a few seconds when you power up)
