yeh got it

i am also long time Logic user... what i did to exactly find out the BPM of for example an MPC beat is using Logics very own "beat counter"? or how its called to check the exact BPM... copy that to Logics Main BPM and you should be fine

do i format an CF Card exactly like a Floppy Disk? like explained on P. 338 ?

or do i need to do it with Translator? (still waiting for my USB-CF Reader, so ASR directly would be faster ready)

Yes
You need a 2gb CF Card and the ASR10 OS Floppy Disk. The OS will be copied to the CF. The ASR10 will not format any card over 2gb, but Translator will. Translator Free version can handle the formatting and will even install the OS.

How do you make each key cut each other off on the ASR?

I mean like putting a PGR on the MPC to MONO/POLY?

Also, where can you set the global pitch for an instrument or key range where you have a couple of chops, so you dont have to edit each one separately?

Thanks,

C.

to make the samples mono (and this only works on the layer you apply it to)
go to amp3 and change the last time on the end from 20 to 99 so the sample playes fully) then when thats complete youll go to layer and the first screen will say of change that to legato samples will play out fully until another note is hit

okay

i ve read this:

search.php?t=29188

i ve finaly set up the ASR 10 + mpc 60 + Logic together (synced)

but when i play on the ASR keys (aswell as when i play on the pads) to controll a VSTi in Logic

the notes are not in chromatic order, but its probably set to general midi, so its a mess, i cant play any melody like this.

so... do i have to set this up in the ASR or the MPC or both?

k, it seems liek i have to change to chromatic order in both mashines, the ASR 10 and the MPC 60

there is a walkthrough in the link above for the 60

i have no idea how to do it in the ASR tho, and i ve searched the manual for it without sucsess ???
