Factory MPC Sound Library Card Erased

Where can I download the contents to restore my blank 128MB Sound Library CF card. I just bought a used mpc500 and the flash card was blank.

Also, there are no demo songs or any internal sounds that load. Seems to be working fine otherwise. Should I be worried?

Turn it on without the card inserted and you should get the demo song.

Not sure why you would want the contents of the factory card. Although admittedly I've never heard it. Maybe there's something completely and utterly awesome on there.

Thats awsome man!! I wish my 500 came like yours. I spent 3 days trying to figure how to erase those. Your not missing much.
I would reformat that card and begin fresh.

Did you ever figure it out? I want mine to be like his too! I cant erase them.

you need to write at least one sample, but I managed to pretty much clear my memory out.

I could of swore that I tried to do that for like 3 days like Ill-Green and it just wouldn't do it. I'll try again.

You can also turn off the autoload so everything is completely blank and doesn't load from internal or compact flash as well.

It doesn't really bother me anymore because I always have a card inserted and a project in autoload.
But it used to bother me at first because I would always think about it being there and it irritated me that I couldn't do anything about it.

What I did was format the card on my SP606, erasing everything and then reformat it in the 500. Voi La La!!

I'm glad to hear this means my machine is in fine shape.

I'm new to the mpc500. The manual talks you through a demo that's on the card and also supposed to be on the internal?. I thought that would be helpful.
