problem with my imported samples

Hi, I downloaded a drum samples pack on my PC, all the files are in WAVE. So i want to put them into my MPC, I followed the steps I always did for other samples, but this time, it doesn't work and I can't find out what's the problem.

So, I put the files into my MPC, I unplug the USB cable, then I go on the load screen, go in the folder where the samples are. When I press F5 to listen to it, it does nothing and when I press F6 to load it, it says '' wrong file'' and won't load.

So I really need help because this drum pack is amazing and I want it on my MPC!

P.S: The pack is named ''synthetic drums 2''.

Hmm not 100% sure why thats happening but if you really want those sounds badly you can always sample them straight into ur mpc from your computer headphone jack

First off double check the files. They have to be WAV but they also 16bit and 44.1. khz, Anything else will not play. Also make sure the name lengths are no more than 16 characters long.

Thanks, now I understand my problem, the majority of the files are in 24 bit. So is there a way to change this, to put them in 16 bit?

I know in iTunes you can batch convert. Maybe try using the "custom" setting of the import tab in iTunes to convert them all in one shot. also, Im sure if you google something like "batch audio converter" or something similar you should come up with a program that can convert them for you.
