I just got my 2kxl and didn't get the cd that comes with it. Is this essential? Or is it a lot of wack drum sounds?

Gte the Numark one... It's got a more full sound... The Vestax lacks the Bass that the Numark can achieve... Plus the Numark has the Pitch slider which I don't believe the Vestax has... And the Numark is cheaper...

It's okay.... for some Bryan Adams ish!
They're just very basic drum kits, clean sounding and not very punchy. So you're not missing out on anything... Unless you're into that Bryan Adams type of sound!

MattMatiks PG: Sorry about that, I changed the post up when i realized it was in the wrong forum.
I bought the XL from Guitar Center and they said it was new, yet they didn't have a box or the cd for it. The XL works fine however, so i'm not sweating it too much.
