i was wondering is anybody using a scsi cable to your PC to eliminate the storage problems the MPC has ? which is the only problem i see the older machines having , i mean it would seem cheaper to just run a cable from your PC and use the hard drive space and DVD burner to load and save your work . if anybody is using this setup let me know how you are doing it and if it's working for you .

Going from MPC to PC will not work via SCSI.
This is what I do... MPC SCSI to my SCSI external HD. From the SCSI HD to my PC desktop via an Adaptec SCSI PCI card. The external SCSI HD is just the middle man

actually............ its a matter of programming. No one has taken the task of writing software to interface with the MPC via scsi. is it possible? I think it is! but again no one has written the software to do it.

What ^ he said.

I mean there is already the MESA for the S range of samplers for example.
