Hi,

I've got a MPC 3000 with a little problem.
When I switch it on...I can use buttons...and it's freeze when i push some buttons or if I wait few seconds.

Sometimes I can't use buttons, the MPC froze at the beginning after the boot.

The MPC made a fall during the shipping :(

If you've got tips for me, I take !!

Thanks and sorry for my poor english.

Open it up and make sure all connections/ram are secure. Take a look at some pictures on here and compare.

Thanks master-ceo.

I opened the MPC and checked if something was "badly" connected. I didn't see something wrong.

I tryed to replug all connectors I can.

I remove and put the firmware chips again.

The machine have always the same problem. The I open the "box" the MPC let me do more things. When I close the "box" it freeze more often.

It look like there is a "bad contact" somewhere.

The MPC started one time and let me do lot of things. The machine freezed when I pushed "Drum Pads"

Sound like you might need to give Forat or VST a call.

The only other thing I can think of is taking out the memory/ram and trying it.
Since you reseated all the connections inside, It might be time to check it in with a tech.

Peace.

I try to take off the RAM... No change...

I'm in France and it's difficult to find a technician :(
But I want to make music with this machine so I'm going to find THE one :)

Thank you all for your help.

kejlabal & multirecord, I thank you.

I tried a last time to disconnect and reconnect all and I discovered a screw blocked between a card and the MPC.

I remove this screw, replugged...and...THE MACHINE IS WORKING !!!

It was stupid.

Thank you all for your help and messages.

kejlabal if one day you want to show me how you use the MPC ;) I'm you man.

For Musical service, multirecord is totally right. They're really good and nice. I've made change all the buttons in this shop, also for a SP12. They know what they're talking about.

Cris, where do you live exactly?
