saving layered drums not seprete on the mpc 4000 pls hlp

i go to (zone) see my two kick that make the better kick when combined, hit save scroll to (save samples) but only see my two kick that make up the new kick. how can i save it as one?

why would you want to?

just save your program as is, and move on.

if you want to create a new sound, for use in another machine, you will need to resample the combined drums, into a new sound.

Yup do as LT says resample the two in the record page or easier to go to sample edit and use the merge edit to combine both. Make the levels the same as it was in zones. These days i always combine custom hits in sample edit. Read up in ref.
