Ya see, it's little shit like that, that is so childish and unnecessary. To say "maybe I'm part of it" is ghey.
What are you from the early 50's or something when everyone who does not agree with your views is "un-American" or a "communist"?!?!
And who the fuq R U to get all aggro mode when you have "zero tolerance" for something. This is a forum where people rally around the MPC but whined up talking about all kinds of stuff & everyone has a viewpoint. If you ain't feelin the the BKBT then fine, say so and keep it movin, but keep those Nazi azz tactics and conversations to your self.
You don't know me or any of the other forum members here to be saying who they work for or what they are a part of...
Just keep it one-hunid.

again... i'm not even getting worked up over here... but you sure are passionate when it comes to the burger kangz product line... it's obvious you have something at stake here. i use the mpc1000 and you can tell me it's a gay piece of sh!t and i'll just laugh it off... in any case, there really isn't a need to single me out when you have an entire forum against you here.

It's not that I love the Beat Thang like that, it's that I love watching you and all the other akai-talk rejects get your panties in a bunch over EVERY Beat Thang thread. Again I ask, WHY DO YOU POST IN EVERY BEAT THANG THREAD IF YOU DON"T CARE FOR IT? Like the dude above me posted, keep it movin' herb!

for the same reason that you three fukkers insist on posting about it in a forum where everyone consistently and repeatedly tells you to take that sh!t elsewhere... we hope you get the point this time.

why don't you and the same 3 akai-talk fvkers get this point?

WHY ARE YOU POSTING IN EVERY SINGLE BEAT THANG THREAD IF YOU HAVE MADE IT CLEAR YOU DON'T LIKE IT AND YOU DON'T OWN IT!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

This thread wil of course get locked and another one will pop up, you can't stop it, so save whatever dignity you have left and go back to posting on akai-talk and licking Bedoiuns nuts :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

dont understand the anti beat thang sentiment i use the 1k and sometimes find it boring to use although i know all its functions.

i admit the marketing of the thang is somewhat corny and infomercial and yeah they have dumbed down to appeal to a wider/beginner audience.

but the above does not equal a bad product sometimes u have to embrace the simple, sometimes the beginner has the advantage over the experienced as they have an open less judgmental mind.

but we all know if the same product was packaged differently and the marketing was different and less aimed at beginners most of those who hate it now would love it.

why say that if someone mentions this product they should be banned? why come out ur face to diss a product? if the thread does not interest u stay out the thread.

i neva see peeps come into threads about FL and diss it, nor do i see peeps come into thread about the 505 or 303 and diss how childish they look so whay take issue with the interest peeps have shown in the beat thang it seems many of u take it as a personal insult when this product is discussed.

the thing about topics regarding the beat thang is that it's an MPC replacement (or trying to be).

and MPC-Tutor (owner of this site and forum) helps keep this site sunning by selling sounds and tutorials to users of all MPC models.

but this forum caters to more than just mpc-related topics. it deals with the studio environment and recording process as a whole and this means it's continued operation would help a lot of folks in the future, as it has done in the past.

talking about the beat thang here is kinda disrespectful, imo.

"but we all know if the same product was packaged differently and the marketing was different and less aimed at beginners most of those who hate it now would love it."

Exactly. If this was Roger Linn's future drum machine, had a more serious name, and looked like a more professional machine (why does it have to look so spaceshipy??) EVERYONE would be on the nuts.

"talking about the beat thang here is kinda disrespectful, imo."
I don't think so. Change is always going to come, and it's happening right now for the MPC. We've talked about EVERY drum machine ever created in the MPC-forums, including software, keyboards, synths, DAW'S, cables, drum kits from various manufacturers, and albums...all have no relevance to MPC's, but speaking about them has never been "disrespectful." I think the Beat Kangs may (and I say this lightly because I still haven't tried it) be the only thing to come out that might be a convincing piece of software for MPC users. It's certainly ruffled some feathers on here...the anger is definitely stroking my curiosity! :)
Also, I'll admit, Beat Kangs Marketing does appear kinda cheese though. My initial thought was not positive, and I'd be VERY surprised if I become a believer, but like I said before, we should all be willing to TRY everything. In the years we've bought equipment for our studio's, we've paid LOT of money on trying gear...I don't understand the repulsion people have with this small piece of software...like they haven't been disappointed with more expensive hardware they tried before..

I'm not "passionate" about the BK product line, I'm just interested in it and optimistic about it. I am "passionate" about the fact you keep feeling the need to accuse those of showing interest in this product affiliates of the BK's. I dislike it when someone labels me as something I am not. My question is WHY?
Why can't a guy like me just be interested and optimistic without being an agent.
Just cause you don't like something does not mean that other real regular people wont.
Basically, I reminding you that on a forum your opinion is not the only one that matters.

I here what your trying to say but if your gonna go that route then it's kinda disrespectful to talk about Abelton Live, Reason, FL, Ensoniq ASR-10, ASR-X, and pretty much any product other than the MPC. Where would we draw the line? At the end of the day though your are just expressing your opinion as you should. In a civil way, and I can respect that.
