Where would we draw the line? At the end of the day though your are just expressing your opinion as you should. In a civil way, and I can respect that.

True, but I don't recall roland, propellerhead, imageline, korg, moog and ect coming in and blatantly viral marketing their product either. I think that's where most of the annoyance came from. If the dude would've just came out and been upfront, that probably would've went over better. When people uncovered bk putting the same message up on tons of forums, I think that's when people started to really not give a **** about the product line. Funny thing, alot of people don't like the feeling of being played like that with marketing.

no one is saying they gonna switch, it is a tool just like anything else, i like exporting what ive worked on in the thang into reason and record and getting a lil more into it, there is no way anyone would dump everything they got 4 this homie, hahaha,. also its not that damn easy to make a beat with the thang, its just like anything else, it actually chops alot like a mpc, chops way better then my 500,. i dont think anyone should just produce beats with one thing, the more tools you can use together the more diverse you can be, and thats my 2 cents

ok.... Maybe you need to get you something better then your mpc 500 in that case, plain and simple this thing aint ish and its not even like im a akai fanboy i got a asr10 and mpc 2kxl and i use not my Mp but asr10 to chop samples with my ear. i dont need no bs software to do it for me, or to make me feel better cause it chops like a mpc. you obviously wouldn't know how a "classic" mpc chops if you only been on a 500 which i dont know if thats all you ever used or thats the only mpc you ever used cause i wouldnt know. But that was my opinion and thats yours no need to need to quote me on it. but i do agree with using more tools as i do use reason as a sound module and fruity loops for simple editing like time stretching since it makes it so easy. My only problem is the market getting fulled with a bunch of BS software thats useless becasue im sure everything it can do a daw, fl studio, & reason can do at a more solid rate thats why when they drop software they dont have to come on craigslist and A MPC forums to act desperately and promote the ish out of it because what this software only does is make a million more wack beatmakers that think they are producers with there 2 finger piano beats, & thats just my 2 cents like i said no need to quote me over it its my opinion and thats that, have a nice day with ya burger-kang products 8)

the trick to being able to sell your samples on this website is to wrap it up in a half assed pluggin style program that can sequence the sample pack so that way it looks like you are being sold a mini-DAW. For some reason they get away with it...

I have a suspicion that the people who buy products according to how many gigs of sounds it comes with are those same people who never push record on they MPCs... they are concerned with loading their purchased sample packs from their computers.... mp3 to wav converters... what ever. You wanna make sample based music, then go and sample. Why buy a bunch of pop music sound clips and over processed 808's wrapped up in that software? does it even come with the cardboard crown?

i aint into crunk i dont plan on making that style of music there are many plugins by the likes of zero-g that fit the mold of a sample pack with a vst wrapper at least this product developed they own front end instead of using a generic kontak interface (no dis to kontakt)

we have seen dudes with the southern influence make beats on it but i see no reason why peeps cant make some nottz type bangers on this, or any other sort of style.

the mo phat also could be labeled as a cop out sound module attempting to appeal to the hip hop market but u gotta know how to get the best out of an instrument.

some beats u do all sample based some beats all synthesis (ruff draft) and other times mix em all together but some of u is too attached to the early 90's backpack shit which i like also but gotta move with the times.

look how cats like sid roams are able to combine samples and synthesis like how alchemist been doing also. any unit which makes it easier/more convenient to achieve this integration warrants a look from me if u aint feeling it cool keep it moving, u dont need to come out ur face to hate.

when the hardware drops some of u gonna be mad as hell. also dont see how speaking on the thang is disrespectful as the sample packs contain wavs which can be loaded up into any sampler so u dont just have to use the sounds on mpcs thats a weak argument.
