What frames are you using for those records?

Oh, you noticed them! I acctually got them this week :) They are from Artvinyl (http://www.artvinyl.com), well I bought them at a store here in Sweden, but thats the company which produces them.
They are rather expensive (about 30€ each), but the thing about these frames are that they are really easy to just "flip open" and take out the record for playing, the pictre below explains it better:

I've stripped the net for some frames before, and definetly came through those ones. I'm not feeling like paying more for the frame than the record though. I'm prolly gonna end up setting 2 shelves on the wall, and just laying my favourite throughout.

Ye, they are really expensive. I know there is "ordinary" frames with the size of a 12" cover too, cost about just under 10€ i think. But if I'd went with those, I had to get double of all 3 records since i cant take them down :P Thought about your idea too, but read that if you are going to do that, u should take your records out of the cover or else they gon get all wobbly.

I'm really feeling this set up, man. I know more space would be nice (trust me- I live in Tokyo), but that certainly looks like it gets the job done.

ps- I also thought that Mos Def 'New Danger' album had a really dope cover- I've never even heard it, actually.

"trust me- I live in Tokyo", Haha :D Ye, I'm really satisfied with my workspace atm. And so is my girlfriend too, no complaints at all!

You should listen to New Danger, it's a good record! Not the best, but good!

I'll post some pics of the little bit of vinyl i have left (about 300) and a full shot in a few days.

It's not much but it gets the job done.Next year i'm planning to convert the middle room to the studio so i'll be back with an update.

Peace.

Here's what my bandmate called my spaceship. I'll post some more pictures of the surrounding area in the future(which contains turntable, mic booth and monitors). My aim in this setup was to get everything as reachable as possible and also to get the samplers up so my neck could get some relief from the constant bending. I'm really liking the mpc like this, simply for that reason; I can sit back in my chair and make the beat as opposed to hunching over the machine.

pretty weird how u have the equipment, but if u feel comfortable using it like that, go ahead
