sup,
aiight so you find a nice clean sample, something u can work with. You sample it in, and it needs a little stretch work. You do that, and put some drums to it, a little bass maybe. Sh*t sounds good, so you keep refining.
Then after a few minutes of listening, your sh*t sounds farrken LOP sided, like the beat doesnt come in completely perfect on the 001, or the snare sounds too late. I end up pissing around for hours with tempo, timing and event edit to try and sort this out - no matter what, I can never smooth that small lump over.
And when it comes to rhyming over it, it sounds dope........wassup?
