Audio from the XL to delta 1010LT

Alright fellas i need a little help with this.I've had the 1010LT for a few weeks and finally got everything hooked up.I have the 8 outs going into the delta 1010LT 8 ins but when i load a kit i'm not getting any sound.The midi part is fine but no audio.Any ideas?

Did you route mpc mixer tracks to the 8 outs?

Sound doesn't automatically get routed the 8 outs, you have to make the sound go to each output via
the mpc mixer up at the top, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

If you have a stereo sample you will only get the 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 option in the mixer screen.

If you have a mono sample you will only get the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 option in the mixer screen.

2kxl manual, pg 131, Chapter 8: Mixer Functions

"Setting the Individual Outputs and Effect Send (Option)

When the optional 8 Individual Output Board (IB-M208P) or Effect board (EB16) is installed, you
can set the output of the sound or the effect send from the Individual Out screen.
CAUTION: If the Individual Output Board (IB-M208P) or effect board (EB16) is not installed,
changes here will have no effect.

Hold down SHIFT and press MIXER (numeric key 7), then select “DRUM 1-4”.
The mixer display will appear.
Press INDIV [F2] to display the individual output screen."

Yeah,i think that's where i messed up.I was in the mixer settings but don't think i actually assigned the sounds.I'll look it up though.Appreciate the help man.


By the way things are good here..........How have you been?

I figured it out.........the mixer settings helped but there was something else that was so simple i completely over looked it......it's embarassing.Appreciate the help though Lamp.

You didn't actually plug up the 8 outs cables huh?!?!

Man.........i didn't turn the volume up in the Delta1010 mixer setting.
