here's my suggestion for you.
def get OS 3.10 for your MPC 60
then...
first option
if you want to use Logic and VST's, then just use Logic and VST's. Maybe use your ASR-10 as a MIDI controller for Logic, but that's really just a waste of the ASR-10. Just get a cheap MIDI controller to use with Logic.
second option (and how i would do it)
use your MPC 60 as the master and your ASR-10 as the slave, and that's it. If you want sounds out of Logic, just sample them into the 60 or ASR and be done with it. The 60 and ASR will warm those Logic sounds up, plus you'll be using the 60 sequencer, which is incredible.

make beats just using Loigic, then make beats using just the 60 and ASR. see which ones you like better. i can already tell which ones will sound better.
these days i find myself using just my MPC 60. Only 26 secs of sample time... and i've never felt more free and creative.
