On another note, why do these dudes keep creating accounts on forums just TRY to convince us to buy this blinking box of burger kang bullsh*t lolol

a.) In denial that their target market (us) thinks they're fools & tools

b.) So full of ego that they can't imagine their target market (us) won't buy their grass roots hype

c.) So desperate for acceptance from their target market (us) that they have to keep trying

On another note; I realized back this spring/summer when AJA was promising to a.) change the non-touch monochrome display to a color touch screen, b.) introduce a software version and c.) started talking about the iphone version AND still hit their deadline of October that these guys were either a.) seriously out of touch or b.) pulling some kind of scam. I thought it was b.) for a while when they started taking pre-orders for "different" amounts of money for the hardware version. I give them credit for refunding folks, but it's now clear they were in over their heads on the hardware product. I can imagine a million different reasons why the hardware version could be delayed indefinitely. Reasons which older, more experienced companies can better overcome due to foresight, risk management and funding.

The other problem with a product like this is that we simply cannot purchase the first device without significant risk. What if their design spec is faulty and their machines overheat causing crashes. What if they ship with a faulty part that requires the device is sent back to the factory. Think it can't happen? Microsoft's design mistake cost them over a billion dollars. A lot of people don't buy version 1 products from Apple because they know there are often problems that will be fixed in later versions. A ton of companies have had costly recalls on faulty power supplies. And these are serious companies with a ton of funding. If BK has a single problem are they going to be able to support their customers? What if the cost to fix the problem ends up costing more than the machine is worth? Can they afford to support their customers?

I'd almost be rooting for them( from the cheap seats since I'd never risk a grand on a v1 product) if they were at least humble about their shortcomings. But they are abrasive and obnoxious as hell. They trash-talk Akai who has been doing this for a lot longer than they have. They treat us like fools for the love we show to our current machines, but ask for loyalty back for vaporware. And when they're feeling sorry for themselves because we don't buy the hype, they come whining about how we're trying to destroy the dream. As far as I'm concerned, the talking heads for this company have destroyed the BeatKangz brand to the point where I can't overcome my feelings of embarrassment for them. All I see is a foolish, clueless company, that doesn't know how to show anyone respect as they struggle to gain respect themselves.

no, they weren't, but i was sure there for them, I have many friends all over the place who produce, and some were considering buying the thang software from the start being that most of my friends live in nashville tennessee, they were stoked, I had to call each one of them and tell em to hold off all because of the not being able to delete bug on pc, most of my friends are on pc, they were shocked, they couldnt understand how someone could put a program out where you couldnt delete something if you messed up, now they are all skeptical just like all you guys are, see the kangs really hurt themselves from the start, if they woulda waited to drop the software after sum cats like me beta tested it this whole mess wouldn't have happened, at first they had a lil respect, but i watched it just spiral down one attempt after another,. but if they work at it and do peeps right they should be able to make they mark..........

Yeah its the egg-nog talking, but fuket, I got something to say.

BK lost me as a customer because when I told them their software wasn't working on my computer, they sh!tted on me by telling me that I bought a sh!tty computer. They even told me to go get a Mac if I want to use their product. I told them ''aint this the product for the people, hell!! even the package says minimum requirements are Pentium 3 with 256 mb.'' Anyway after that I demanded my refund because I ordered the hardware and the bastards was hard up to give back my cash. Took them 3months to refund my money, but they only refunded it after I informed them that I was gonna make a claim with legal agencies.

Don't waste your time on this. Its a gimmick, they should of went to the gaming world with this because its like those video games you see for PS3 or XBOX360. Consider the software as Beat Hero for your comp.
