Recently the sound stopped working in the right channel of my 2500 so I decided to open it up and just peak inside to see if anything was obviously disconnected or whatever..But no it's definitely not obvious. Any one have any ideas as to what it might be..

I installed jj Os 1 over a year ago now, and also installed a non akai issued hard drive and some non akai ram and it all worked fine up until recently. I have a warranty but worry that i'll have to take out all the mods that i put in myself and revert to the old akai OS so my warranty won't be void. Pleaseeee tell me I don't have to do this or maybe tell me how to get the old OS back on as a last resort.

i dont think its an OS problem. Check if its not the cable, speakers, mixer, etc...
If you're shure its the MP, then try reinstling your OS.
If that does not work install original OS, Remove the HD and Ram and take it to warranty, i dont think they gonna run somekind of test to check if you had non-akai stuff.. :?
If for some reason they void your warranty you can just buy the part that got broken at http://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc2500stuff.html
