Easy Peeps

Sorry if this is an obvious question or somthing I have missed (I have tried to search to find the answer!)

Basicly i'm wondering if the 1000 can stretch a single sample accross an octave (or 4) just like in a normal sampler? For example I had a horn hit in C and I applied it to a pad, would the MPC be able to streach this accross the rest of the pads (or at least some of them) in the corresponding notes (D, E, E# etc)?

Or is the only way to do this by sampling each note out of a 'normal' sampler then importing them into the MPC?

Thanks for any help, it's been bugging me for a while!

Nice one

16 levels stretches a sample out over more than an octave :P

But from the question... There are a few ways to do this. Easiest is to get JJOS...

Otherwise if you need more than what 16 levels offers you'll need to make a program with each pad having assigned the same sample. Then use the tune +/- for each pad to change the semitone value for as many pads as you need. Nothing fancy, but is kind of time consuming to do.

Nice one guys! Thanks for the help.

Does the JJOS have a function to do this then? Create a Program from a single sample??

Thanks again.
