MPC5000 pgms in 2500?

Hey guys, whats good? I can swap my 4k for a 5k. But the guy is in doubt because he isnt a 100% sure wether he could load up his 5000 programs in a 2500 or 4k or not. Is there someone that has any experience with loading up 5000 pgms in other mpc's? Thanks in advance.

If i rememeber right it the 5k reads the tune settings and some other stuff from the 4k pgm's but not evrything it's the most compatiable but not evrything is.
but don't trade a 4k for a five if u intend to do something with ur creations the 4k has the higher sampling rate wich means more flexibility just because of the noisefloor in the end the 5k has nice features but u'll be wanting a 4k next to it for the sample rate.
Ok the 5k hS work around beacause u can stack the subs with fx dunno about the 4k yet if it can do that.
But looking at it from an engineers point off view the sample rate thing is the big no no.

and if i'm talking gibberish here, look for noisefloor distortion on the web then you'll understand.

Lol nah thanks for the input. I was in doubt for a very very long time. I know the technical/qual. specs of the 5k are less than the 4k, but i noticed that i could create a more faster (efficient) workflow on the 5k. The 4k is still a beast imo.

The guy that wanted to swap is now in doubt, because he wants to load his mpc5000 files in another mpc (he doesnt wanna loose his beats in the 5k format). I did some research but i couldnt find a def. answer to my question..so thats why i thought: ey lets look if theres some hands on experience!
