Best way to audition drums on these older MPCs?

I have the 3000 and its really impossible to audition drums bc you can only have 1 program at a time... I usually have all my samples and then I cant really load another program of drums. How do you guys do it? Do you just sample your drums from your computer or another machine or something>?
