i have a blue mpc 1000 i know the basics how to make beats but still learning at the sametime. but anyway i have some questions?? i have turntables i cut & scratch , beat juggle and all that good stuff. now i have some questions?

1. does anybody use there mpc 4 doing mixes? example i wanna take accepellas and program certain instrumentals on certain pads. like 4 instances pad1 i put a 50 cent beat ,pad2 i puta little wayne beat ,pad3 put a jay z beat ?

2. i wanna take certain accepellas and just use certain parts of it. but every time i try it comes very slow motion off beat?

3. does any body have any you tube vids i could see or web sites i could see. i guess u could say i wanna be a studio dj but dont get me wrong i could cut & scratch my ass off. i just wanna see if its possible i wanna make those hot mixes & remixes u know my my own beat for a remix stuff like that. i hope im not confusing anybody just want to step it up for 2010.

4. or maybe im using the wrong gear for what i want to do if somebody could point in the right direction what i should be buying or using.

thanks guys :D and happy new year dont drink & drive u might spill your drink!!!!!!!

You just gotta make sure you the lead in on ya accapella cut perfect for instant start when you hit the pad and you prob wanna adjust the pitch of everything on ya turntables first so will just be triggering everything(mix/match)

I did a mix like your saying for some dance/steppers at V.U.U. back in 2004 right after getting mpc 1000, worked out ok at the time kinda like those party break records by crooklyn clan, though now in 09 almost 2010, is much simpler to do it in like ableton live & serato using the mpc as a midi pad controller BUT you CAN do it all on mpc if you really want to.

using the wrong tools imo, if you wanna mix on commercial beats. I would go with a laptop and a computer DJ program for that, like serato Scratch or Torx
