Seriously, I don't care for the 5000, for the simple fact that it won't even read sample, sequences ect... from any of my older MPC's. The 4000 beats the 5000 even on paper. So they added a synth! That was to try to compete with the MV's. Akai would have never done that to it's customers. But, Numark would. They just want you to buy new sh!t, even if it's good or bad. Mark my words, there will be a new MPC out before Akai fixes anything with the MPC 5000. The same case with the 4000. The 4000 came out before the Numark takeover, and it was not their design anyway so they dropped it. So when a so called new flagship comes out, don't hate on it! Cause it's coming.
