not connecting to the comp?

I don't know what to do. Just got the mpc. Bought it off ebay. Everything works fine. I Connected the usb to the computer. what do i do? it should be one of those removable drives right? where do i put the samples and stuff.

Removeable drive.

Put a CF into the slot first, then connect to computer.
Cannot work without a CF in there FIRST.
Computer will see your CARD as removeable, not the mpc itself.

What did you figure out?

Your old problem may be someone elses new problem and they can get through it reading your solution.
