you can put whatever you want it in. I come from straight hardware, 4k for years, still got it but don't use it.
Not sure which one u use, but the 4k didn't have any real "character" it was a very clean sampler.
Maschine is the joint man, it can sequence external stuff, or vsts on your computer.
you can use an external keyboard to play the sounds as well.
I like it cuz I have a huge sample library and I can access it all instantly, no 512mb limits, plus it's quick to chop, add fx, change pitch all that.
It definitely isn't everything for everyone, but I'm much more productive with it than I ever was with my mpc. I just got tired of waiting for stuff to load and then having to track stuff into the computer.
it doesn't timestretch yet, but they said they working on that.
self containted project, mpc 60/1200 circuit emmulation, destructive sample editing and some other stuff coming in the next update.
but i won't front like it's the best thing for everyone yo, if you can try it, do so. I try to make as many videos as I can to show folks what it can do.
