Yeah a white screen would look dope...What about the blue screen?....The white screen and the red are so hard to find now...but mpcstuff has the blue screens

blue screen is the sh*t but i had to get mpcstuff to send me a replacement as the inital one they sent me wasnt working.

That sucks...Yeah some of the shit that mpcstuff pulls is shitty...like not telling you shit is out of stock in a certain color and sending you a different color item that you didn't want hoping you will keep it...they need to work on there customer skills...but there is only them and VST to buy parts from...If akai was smart they would just open there own online store to get buttons, screens...ect.. from them and lower the prices because we all know it doesn't cost $5 for a button...it should be more like 50 cents... and shipping for most of this stuff should be no more then 4 bucks not 7.50... Anyways sorry for the rant just had to get it off my chest... Back to the dope custom MPC1000's

hey do the white pads stay clean and bright white like that or did you have to scrub em/wet em to get that shine?

i'm plannin on getting red pads with the upgrade but might add white too they look nice

I just got them so time will tell...but there was some other guy on here that said that he had his for a few months and they were still bright white...but what i can say is that the pad feel is better then the grey or the black akai pads...you dont feel the big gap with the mpcstuff color pads...so i would say go for it... they are half the money that the black pads came out for.... so its your call

whats up fellas,,just picked up a "nib" blue 1000 for 340....soon as it gets here i'll be customizing it,,,,,,i dont really care if it has the new pads or not,,it was frigin brand new so even with the pad upgrade im lookin at 500..nib,,,not to bad...

i really do hate the red and blue scheme so im not sure what i'll be aiming for but when its done it will def. be a 1 of a kind..

it will most likely have red incorperated in it somewhere as all my equipment does..but i will probably keep the red minimul..

im doing a silver and red 2500 as we speak...its actually at the labeler know getting the template made...so it might be a little bit before i get to the 1000,,,,but as some know,,ive been wanting a 1000 for some time now just to customize it because i actually think its one of the cooler looking mpc's...

so i promise not to disapoint!!!!

congrats on getting an insanely low price on an mpc1000... i guess the recession has gotta have it's positive side.

and i'll look forward to see what you end up doing to customize it... maybe you should lay off on the PINK though. j/k
