may be the ram issue but by another sample source i meant sample from your tv, ipod, computer, really anything with an output. just to see if it was your TT or "source"
On the ram idea, sometimes you just need to reset your ram, may be no need in buying new ram. Although ram is prety cheep. good luck and happy sampling!
