i've got a handful of sequences i have made, i've gone into song mode and inserted the individual sequences in order then hit convert with referenced to 1st selected.

when i play the newly created song sequence it just plays the full 60 bars of sequence 1 and nogt the entire order of sequences

i'm confused
any ideas?

WTF are you talking about? ???

MPC will read your tracks assignments ONLY from your first track, so you'll need to have ALL
Seq's and all tracks to have the same line up.

Ie

(sick of saying this every other day, lol.)

SEQ1, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ1, TRK2=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ1, TRK3=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM

SEQ2, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ2, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ2, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM

SEQ3, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ3, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM
SEQ3, TRK1=BASS, TRK2=PIANO, TRK3=HORNS, TRK4=TOMTOM

This way, the mpc will read the very first seq and track assignments and run through
all the following seqs/trks with no problem.

Damn, I song mode on almost every beat with multiple sequences and I never noticed that option. But I naturally always keep all my sequences with the same line up, so I guess I never had a need to notice it!
