REX 2 MPC

Does anyone have this program? I heard you can use this program to chop samples in Recycle and load the File converted to WAV or MPC format and have your sample play across your pads...Let me know about this program because Recycle is such a great program

I downloaded and used the program, its actually pretty dope, I recommend it to anyone with a MPC and the program Recycle...it makes chopping samples like 1000000% easier then having to do it on a MPC,

Nope I guess not, I tried to find a windows version I guess it doesnt exist, but the program is dope as ****, it cuts your samples into WAV and then makes a program so you can play it on the MPC...DOPE!

This will work for Win but you have to find an older version of Recycle.

recycle is for both mac and pc. and you can chop in there and export your chops as separated wave files, it even keeps the effects you throw on the chops.

Wow I didnt know that, thats pretty valuable information so either way I can chop, how do you export into seperated wave files?

But couldnt you export all your chops in WAV format and load them into the MPC manually? Then create a program?

yes, which you can already spit individual wav slices out from recycle to thou. via the file, export, wave file command...


i guess i thought the mpc recognizing the pgm file is the cool part of this software. So buying it for 5-10 bucks is just a rip to get you to pay for a coded script written to create a folder....

Instead of posting all these basic questions do yourself a favour and RTFM. Believe it or not, this should be the first port of call for any questions regarding your machine.

Spend some time getting to know your MPC and its core functions, that way you will actually begin to develop an UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING RATHER THAN BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO. Call it practical experience.

Read, try, re-read, re-try, learn.

If searching fails to help, post your question in the APPROPRIATE FORUM, just because you have a particular machine does not mean all your threads must go into the corresponding forum (i.e MPC2500).
