Velocity on mpc2000xl

Hi everybody!
I have bought a MPC2000XL in order to use my MPC60 sounds on stage.
I'd like to know something about pad velocity between 60 and 2000XL.
I think pads haven't got the same sensitivity because i must strike very hard
the 2000 pad than the 60 one to have 127... is it normal?
And in the other hand, when i push very very slowly the pad, is not 01 but about 50, the
less velocity... i ask myself if there is a parameter in the XL to get the right pad velocity and sensitivity? (because when I sequence I can put sample with a 01 volume...strange!)

The same pad sensors are used by both the 60 and the 2000XL -- if one is not as sensitive as the other, the sensors on the 2000xl may be worn out or are very dirty.

I think if the pad sensor were worn out or dirty, surely some pads would be
more sensitive than others. Instead of that, they all got the same sensitivity
... it's strange...
