:? Damn what a b!tch-ass. Nobody was hating but was disagreeing and some even joined. It takes hard work to get people to join a site, just can't expect everyone to hop the train, you gotta make a few stops and then go back and pick up some more people. But you don't hear me though.

shouldnt it be due TO the haters?

Additionally please refer to this thread regarding "haters" and the incorrect use of the word. As a matter of fact check my response (scroll down about half way):

http://mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=124667&start=15

I am willing to be none of us are jealous (jealousy being the main characteristic of a hater of course) of a site which was proposed to host a bunch of MP3, low grade, uber-compressed repackaged sample packs. But thats just me thinking out loud.

Тnx for helping me realize how stupid I was, to do something for so egoistic and frustrated people like you!

... site closed...

awe man, There would have been plenty plenty plenty of people that would have joined your site man, the few people that dis you in a thread represent only a very tiny percent of your target users, add to that, your site url and name getting indexed by the search engine bots( mpc forums indexed very nicely and quick) you would have been good, minus the angry tantrem talk ( gets indexed too)

can't give up so easily man, some of the same people that dis you in the forum, would probably join your site under a didderent name/e-mail.

shake it off & be persistent

good luck

Shame the site went down - would have been a good sharing resource.
Its common practice with the rest of the music community to share synth presets, samples etc whether commercially or non commercially ( there are two buttons at the top of this forum that point to a commercial site to buy mpc samples and tutorials). I have downloaded synth patches and used them as a basis to create my own patches, as well as using the presets.
I dont think it is laziness to offer a site - there will always be innovators who use resources and are creative and adapt samples and sounds , and people that will just load preset 01.
