I was on Reaper for about 6 months now I'm sold on Sonar 8 Producer. I will say that if I had a Mac I'd want to look into the lastest version of Logic,...it seems to be really well rounded DAW with tons of tools and features. :D

Nuendo. I always hated working on Pro Tools, back in the day. Once Nuendo first came out, I tried it... liked it, and decided I wouldn't always have to work OTB.

Protools le with the mbox 2. I have logic pro 8, have used ableton live, had digital performer 6 and have used cubase 4/5. Out of them all protools was just more comfortable to work on with cubase a close second. The mobx 2 works fine for me. Never got the 8 outs for the 2k so more inputs didn't matter.

Edit- Would like to hear about pt 8 too. I still have 7.3.1. I didn't really see the need to upgrade.

I use Pro Tools with Digi 003 interface to track out my beats from hardware. Sometimes I use Logic because my work flow is much faster on it since it was the first DAW I learned.

I haven't actually tracked w/ Reaper but have used it on my laptop when I'm on the road for pulling vocal samples- worked a treat! The shortcuts did take a little getting used to though...
