akai mpc1000 firmware 2.13?

hello mpc forum,
today i got my brand new mpc1000.
i wanted to upgrade wit da jjosxl,now i see that my akai firmware is 2.13(?)
is jjosxl working with that firmware.
i thought i ask someone who got it upgraded from 2.13, before i destroy somethm.
that would plunge me into ruin.

Got the same release with my new MPC1000, 2.13.

I've upgraded to JJOS1 yet. Will probably upgrade to OS2 or OS2XL although i don't really understand all the
differences between the two's and which one is good for me..

PS: one thing though, 2.13 is not yet available at akaipro, which means that i'll only be able yet to go back to 2.12, but honestly i hardly think i'll ever go back...

it astonishes me that akai not allready releases their new firmware.
anyway i had to wait for a later time to upgrade since i found out that my maudio oxygen61 silver don't work with the mpc.

hello, i had also 2.13 on the new mpc (release date i think sep or nov 09).

after installing jj os i have no idea how to get back to 2.13

can i make a hard-reset and 2.13 is back?

i dont understand what your midi/usb keyboard has to do with a firmware update for your hardware sequencer

im just saying an akai update is just that...AN AKAI update! being able to connect your keyboard.........what's holdin him back.......?
