Trigger a sample when you release a pad?

I've got a great multisample that I need to add a sample to after the pads are released. Is there any way t do this with any of the operating systems?

I dont think this is possible, sorry.

Could be possible with a DAW in the MIDI chain. MPC Pad -> MPC MIDI out -> DAW MIDI in -> (Cubase) Input Transformer (transform NOTE OFF signal to NOTE ON signal -> DAW MIDI OUT -> MPC MIDI In.

JJOS free does this. You just go into the global settings, go to Pad, and lower the "Pad On Level".

my TX16W build in 1987 can do it too. Not as a global setting but for each sample I want it to.
