Please Help

Whats up Forum, so I chopped my sample in Pro Tools and bounced my chops as Wav files and I put the chops in the autoload folder...Im trying to make a program with the chops but when I go to make the program I only get the drums I guess thats saved to the internal memory how do I load the chops that I chopped in Pro Tools to show up in the program so I can assign my chops to the pads? Can someone please help me out, I looked in the manual and Im stuck here

I tried to load my samples manually and theyre not playing on the MPC does anyone know why this may be? They show up in the MPC but they wont play

Looking at this part of the forum, you have 8 posts in the top part of it.. and I have only looked at them slightly. Only one thing I can do to help:

If you just bought the equipment, sorry to say:

Some people spend years to learn, others learn fast. It`s up to you. The faster you touch the manual, and get STUCK with it, the faster you`ll learn, and understand. Try the stuff you read about.

For connecting pro tools and a mpc, I found (sorry for once again mentioning this) Studizzy`s manual helpful. Google it, or search in this forum, or look at my posts... It`s there somewhere.

Look in your mpc manual to see what type of wavs your mpc likes.

Then you have the manual. Someone might have the unread version. Just ask around. It`s the best imo.

ok so you know the files are there right ? Can you view the files in your mac/pc (either via the mpc or a card reader). Now right click on the file (I only have a pc) and check the properties of the wav file. Does it match the specs Lampdog gave you. Try and double click on the file - do you hear it on your pc ?

It does sound like an issue with the WAV files.

Thanks bro, because Im tired of hearing or reading read the manual...What do yall think Im doin, Im reading the manual, Im learning but when I have a question that the manual is not showing, I get on the forum...But thanks Jimmie, I figured it out, I chopped the samples in Recycle instead of Pro Tools and exported as Wav, I want to use Pro Tools to chop though using Beat Detective...it works way better and more accurate then Recycle...but I guess the MPC doesnt recognize Pro Tools Wav's
