I got goo on my knobs

I baught this thing new, and I took it apart for a deep cleening ecept I have a problom, I got some type of goo( Im guessing cola) on my Rec gain knob and my 16 levels button. Anyone know a safe way to clean this? It doesnt affect the rec gain knob, but my 16 levels sticks an takes two click to activate.

I would open it up and just give it a good cleaning. Someone with food on their hands gunked up one of my mixers. I took the knobs off, put them in a cup with warm water and a little soap and cleaned them with a toothbrush

Simple Green works wonders on getting sticky stuff off of electronics.

Just make sure everything is dry before you turn it on.

i use a cleaner i buy from trader joe's it's organic works great makes everything shine. with some of that contact cleaner that lampdog mentioned and a can of air to dry it.

"Electrical Cleaner" in the spray can. You can safely spray this directly in the tact switches to clean the gunk out.

Not hijacking, but how do you guys clean your pads? I already have tried windex but the sticky brown stuff wouldn't come off.
