My operating system

I have the 2000XL with V1.11 operating sytem. I uploaded the newest version(1.14) but when I check the version it still tells me that 1.11 is the operating system. According to all prompt on the MPC during loadup everything went as it should have. Why does it still show V1.11?

I downloaded V1.14 onto a floppy disk. Then I put the disk in the MPC. I went to the LOAD screen (shift and 3), and highlighted 'Device' and selected "floppy" with the jog wheel. I selected 'View: ALL, located the operating system file and pressed "DO IT"

I dont think thats the way to install it, just load it, am I right lamp?

Once again fellas..you came thru for a brotha! I had not unzipped the file nor did I have the right selection in the view field when it was time to go live. So I unzipped the file put it back on a floppy, selected "all files" rather than ".all" then pressed "do it". Now my MPC has V1.14 on it 4sho! So once again..I 'preciates ya fam'! Il the next time, Alls well in the H2O! Stay safe!
