while I know what you meant and where you're coming from... that is BS... hahaha! There are plenty of wrong ways to make "music" .. But there are no limits and boundaries.

lamp put it best "LEARN YOUR GEAR" it's nothing more wack than being in the lab,and a cat ask you can you do something, and you don't know how :(

2.be dope,we hate wack beats.

3.don't ever think your the best cause you made a few good beats.there are cats out there that will smoke that________.

4.no overnight success.

5.never send a label more than 4 beats at a time. if you send your whole catalog and they say send me five more joints right now what you gone do?

6.don't mix bizness with pleasure, bizness is bizness.

7.stay in your lane, know your limits.if you make hiphop don't try to work with an artist out of your league(singers) who are use to chord progressions, bridges, different time signatures, and solos.let 'em know up front what you do.

8. be cool, never let a label hear your excitement.even though they like the track it still might not get placed.

9.learn the bizness.

10.always have your checks mail to me first, let me handle your money ???

my girlfriend just took my ps3 away for two weeks, anyone with an addiction like mine should squash it like that. the author ian. m. banks had to delete his save files on his PC for 'civilisation' cause he missed a deadline and had done nothing for 3 months. that spare time in your day isn't spare, get crackin' on those dope beats, it's a long and rewarding process so start early.

if she didn't take it i would be raping bayonetta's trophies all week, time to get working on those beats, lyrics and other important things...
