Pad cut off previous playing pad

I have searched terms: pad cancel previous.

If I need to search more, please help me with terms.

I want to know if 2000xl can have one pad turn off sound playing from another pad.

Voice Overlap is what your looking to do.

go to shift program params and press the pad that u want to use to mute the other pad. press open window on POLY(bottom right of the screen) you will get the mute assign window, where it says NOTE:--/OFF hit the pad that u want to be muted.
