DJ Illustrious wrote:Yeah you can control your BTV from your MPC1000, I do it all the time. I'm actually prefer it this way so I can use my MPC's step editor, since the BTV doesn't have it's own yet. The way I have it set up is that I have my mpc midi in and outs connected to my Mbox 2 in and outs. After that, you just set the BTV's midi input to "mbox 2" under it's "System" settings. It doesn't have to be a Mbox though, any midi interface you have connected from your computer to your mpc will show up in the options.

Cool...

Multitimbral? 16 Parts?

BTW, thanks for the info.

you see why people hate em tho, kneebone? Has nothing to do with the product, has all to do with the marketing tactics and develoment teams attitude. I could tell even you were bugged by that one.

i think people get confused on the difference between marketing and someone hanging in a forum. Our feature banner on worldstar hiphop is marketing. Me posting in here is for entertainment. It's like being dropped 1000 miles behind enemy lines.
its fun to have such vocal opposition. It blows my mind people who dislike something have so much time to talk about it. It's flattering how much of their energy they give to something they "never plan to buy".

As for people who realize it's just gear and dont have their entire image wrapped up in an mpc, we are down to talk shop any day. We are cool with people who are cool with us.

We only engage some of the haters for sport. It's amusing sometimes. They seem to like it too otherwise they wouldnt keep posting comments lol. It's almost become a hobby for both sides. Im used to cyphers and battles so this just keeps me sharp.

and you see, its actions like this that lose you potential customers, like myself. If you had been constantly helpful and didnt e-retaliate to every negative thing said bout the thang, then maybe youd be welcome here. You think Rger Linn didnt get heat when he was workin on the MPC 60? Or even more recenly the AdrenaLinn? Y'all have a shitty attitude, and thats what made me not want your product. Golden rule -The (potential) customer is always right. So maybe y'all owe us an apology, but knowing your ignorant ass, it aint comin. Besides, I own other things besides an MPC, I got a yamaha DJX II keyboard, 3 guitars, a bass, and 2 other drum machines. I stay here because its not only MPC oriented, and mostly entertaining, but very helpful.

it aint damaging the brand cos most places they advertise is noothing to do wih mpc-forums, most potential consumers wont read these forums.

im sure at the very outset it was known that most mpc loyalist would not support any company not established in the biz but some might offer some useful development ideas for the product
