my pads are confused!

ehm... when I press the pad 2, it activates the key records,
when I press the pad slider, it activates the button
trim ... What happened?

I dont have a 500 so cant really offer too much here.

Try a factory reset, see if that fixes the problem.

hmm sounds crazy.. never heard of a problem like this.. i think i would contact akai if the factory reset doesnt work..

Using a slider to trim a sample..... that would be flippin awesome....

Heard of it yes, didn't think it was possible on the 500.

Did I miss something in my 500 manual after the 1400,th read????

I thought the 500 could do that, maybe not.

I know the 2kxl can.

I'm positive it's not possible.... YET.

Something to have my computer ninja buddy look in to when he has a peek at the OS. ??? here's hoping

No its not possible on the 5, despite being a rather obviously useful function.
In fact almost the only function I can think of for the limp useless "q-link" slider on my 5.

Thats interesting that Akai appears to be well aware of this since they apparently put it on the XL.
I didn't know that.
