Hi guys,

Small question here, i don't know what i've messed up but here are the fact;

when loading a particular program, JJOS02XL does not load all the samples.
In the program editor, i can see the PAD assignment, but where there are "missing"
samples, the samples are named like this; ?T6011.WAV instead of T6011.WAV.

Actually all the samples are in there in the right folder...

I've redone the mapping twice on the program, beat was sounding as supposed
but today on reload, don't know why, same thing happend.

Maybe it's a name issue don't know...

Thanks for your help.
cheers,
m.

Make sure your samples are (16bit 44.1khz WAV)

Make sure sample names are NO longer than 16 Characters

Make sure the "program and the samples" are in the same folder.

Make sure to "Save Entire Memory" to a project folder when saving a project.

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply;

I think the only thing here would be samples names longer than 16 char. But doesn't the file system truncate
them anyways ?

I'm sure i introduced the error somehow but can't figure out where and what...

Will check..

Thanks again,
cheers,

As mentioned... seems to be a problem with samples with long filenames.

Okay guys 2 things:

- One of my samples contained a blank space in it's name (i suspect that one to have introduced the issue)
- Though after that sample and its location failed to load, none of the remaining samples where loaded, i think this one is a bug of JJOS

I've found out and troubleshooted with BlueBox on my DAW. Handy little software indeed...

Another thing, how slow is your USB connection to your MPC ? i'm getting ~650Kb/S which i rather call slow, my internet connection is faster...

Lemmeknow,

i made a thread about this recently - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=124762&start=0

loading the whole folder works fine for me.

i rarely use the usb connection. for some reason it takes AGES to mount the hdd so i can see it on the computer. transfer rate really is pretty slow, because it's usb 1.0.

if i want to load sample from the pc i just record it through the analogue ins, takes much less time :)
