OKAY Whoever and WHY EVER delted my post on this for me very important and absolutly ON TOPIC matter

MAY PLEASE EXPLAIN HIMSELF!!! THANKS!!! THIS WAS ALSO DELTED FROM THE WANTED SECTION!!! WTF... WHY??????

i allready got in Conversation about the issue itself... thanks for erasing information!

AGAIN:

need them urgently because i cant set up the midi enviorment (playing other soundmodules with my ASR 10 Keys) in 3.10

that wasnt a problem with 2.12 and the disk form there still worked on 3.10... i justed f*ed up the disk... and killed one of the 4 chips from my old 2.12 chips

classic :(

really need these and i bet many have them lying around without any use for them, so please get in touch!

thanks

PLUS MY ANSWER I WERE WRITING WHILE THE POST WAS DELTED!:

hi

i also thought it may be the chromatic order BUT, playing the keys on my ASR while being on a SE1 Synth Track in the MPC 60 there is NO midi coming through to the SE1 (it has a LED indicator) neither to Logic8

i had this working right away on 2.12 it hasnt been an issue to do this form the Beginning, but i was not able to recreate that setup in 3.10

basicaly i could only image it has to do with the difference: in 3.10 the recive ch. is set to ALL (and changing it doesnt change it)
while in 2.12 when i made the Layout to save it disk i HAD to go for every Track into the Midi options and assign the right track (1-16)
this is not (needed/possible?) in the 3.10, and doing the same in the RECIVE ch. doesnt do the trick :/

so i am sure i can recreate it on 2.12 but while trying i destroyed on eof the chip "teeth"

If you double post, and I see them, I will delete stuff, with extreme prejudice!
And I'll do it again if you persist.

You should already know this and have should have expected it, you've been here for a minute.

Complain to Tutor if you have a problem with that.

Not erased, just not in public view.

k i see, well.. would ve been enough to kill the WTB one where no conversation is taking place anyway

boxcutter butta wrote:why not just keep on with the setup you have im sure its not a problem with the 60 or the asr or the se1
you can do it!!

what yu mean?

as i said i can not play the other soundmodules (Logic / SE1) with the ASR keys, only with the MPC pads wich sukks

thats the dilemma and i really see the only tested and approved (by myself) method to set it up in 2.12 and save to disk

noone got those old chips in the shelf collecting dust? doesnt have to be 4free

okay well you had the set up working before with the os3.10 chips so it must not have been some change that you destroyed that can be accessed again
with all the time you've been asking about it im sure you could have solved the problem
im just saying

man yes sure... well i tried absolutly everything i could think of and noone on here is able to think of anything else that might be the issue... if you can, let me know, otherwise thats just empty words
so to say

will do as obscure as this task is, its the only thing i am 99% sure of

the only other thing coud be corrupt midi in my ASR or MPC but i doubt that

if I am such a retard, then how come i can make my mpc60 work with my computer, and any sampler or any keyboard?

looks like you are a retard ION

is is a simple software setting on the main screen of your mpc.
come out of YOUR retarded stupor, for just a moment, and maybe read the manual, and you will figure it out.

You might not be a retard, but your style of commenting is just destructive and annoying at times. It's not that difficult to be nice to people - try it! :)

just wanted to comment on this.

i know how it should be set up in the fromt panel (ASR10 = 1A-8A) (SE1 1B) (Logic 1C-16C) the interaction between all works
i can play Logic and SE1 with the Pads but not the mpc keys
cables arent the bad guy either, plugging ASR directly to SE1 obviously works...

and i DID read the manual man

the issue iam having is not the MIDI Track / DRUM Track thing i tried all that

so if anyone wanna commet on what exactly he may think is the problem please do so, but vague ideas and rtfm really doesnt help, i am past that.

thanks

Have you played around with the asr? It kind of sounds like it might be an issue on the asr part of the setup if the keys aren't playing sound. I've had that happen with other synths hooked up to my mpc. I knew the mpc part was fine because the sounds played when using the pads and played back when recorded on the mpc, but the keys wouldn't trigger. In my case it was a simple midi setting mix up. So I would look at the asr part of the setup cause it sounds like the 60's not the problem.

you said this

ion wrote:hmm good point, i didnt because i didnt change anything since it worked

but worth looking into, will do

then this....

just start sequencing with the pc since the mpc seems to just more of a trouble then a reward for you

oh man... i know you dont mean to offend or something, but i cant hear that kind of statement anymore.

i used to sequence with the computer for more than 6 years, so please dont tell me where to "start"

AND may have put it a bit unskilled, but what i meant is i didnt RE-change any ASR settings as they are how they should be and how it worked...
